IMMORTALITY 2012
Immortality 2012, the English Day organized by the English Literary Association of Devi Balika Vidyalaya was held on Monday, the 19th of March, at the school’s Wimala de Silva Auditorium, in grand scale.
Popular Television presenter, Arun Dias Bandaranayake graced the occasion as the chief guest. The function was colourful with dramas, play lets, dances, songs and a fashion show. A friendly exhibition debate was also held with the debating team of Ananda College, Colombo .The Launching of the ‘creations’ magazine, an enchanting collection of the creative thoughts of Devians was the highlight of the occasion. Many other distinguished guests teachers and students from invited schools were among the invitees.
Immortality 2012 was made a reality as a result of the dedication of all the English teachers of the school, executive committee as well as the organizing committee of the English Literary Association.
